South Plainfield just keeps winning.

Mike Sbailo went the distance allowing an unearned run with three strikeouts and scattered six hits and three walks.

The Tigers (11-10) are playing in Saturday’s Greater Middlesex Conference Tournament semifinals on Saturday and are 6-2 in May.

Ashton Donovan went 2-for-3 with an RBI and Zack Robinson was 2-for-3 (double, run). Jayden Alvarez (RBI), Brandon Bickunas and Kevin Penny each singled in the win.

Jordan Martins went 2-for-4 (run) for Edison (12-9) and Matt Yascko Jr. drove in a run. Mason Murphy (double), Dom Innocenti and Robert Roma each had a hit for the Eagles.

The Tigers won 3-1 vs Edison yesterday improving their record to 11-10. SP Mike Sbailo went the distance (7ip 6h 3k) was solid and gets the DUB. Ashton Donovan (2-3 rbi) Zack Robinson (2-3 2b r) Jay Alvarez (1-2 rbi) were the dogs who ate.

A true man of the people, Mikey Sbailo was all business on Thursday. A man who is always willing to go the distance for his clients, proved his case beyond a reasonable doubt, won the settlement and the affection of all the female jurors & clerks in attendance.
