Athlete of the Week: Dominic Massaro

Dominic Massaro, center fielder for the South Plainfield Baseball Team, has been named our Athlete of the Week—and for good reason. Dominic recently made history by breaking South Plainfield’s all-time hits record, now standing at an impressive 127 career hits.
He’s been on an incredible run at the plate, tallying 18 hits over the last six games, including 7 doubles, a home run, 6 RBIs, and 8 runs scored. His clutch performances have made a major impact, as he’s driven in go-ahead runs to help secure 4 wins during that stretch.
Beyond the stats, Dominic’s leadership sets him apart. A team captain for the past two years, he leads by example with his work ethic, attitude, and commitment to his teammates. He’s not only a standout player but also a dependable leader and an awesome teammate.
