Marcus James tossed a three-hit shutout to lead South Brunswick to a 4-0 win over South Plainfield in Monmouth Junction.

Mike Reyes went 2-for-2 with an RBI for South Brunswick, which scored three runs in the fifth inning. Jacob Ciccone doubled and drove in a run, while Mike D'Amato singled and drove in a run in the win.

Chris Born, Mike Stanczak and Niko Vasquez each had a hit for South Plainfield.

The streaking Vikings, who have won three straight and four of their last five, plated three runs in the fifth inning to break a scoreless tie and Marcus James made the rally stand with a complete-game shutout.

James fanned nine, scattered three hits and walked one while throwing a 95-pitch masterpiece

Jacob Ciccone, Mike Reyes and Mike D’Amato each had an RBI. Jason Seliger-Braun, Felix Quinones, Will Beck and D’Amato each scored a run. Reyes (2-for-3) was the lone player to record a multiple-hit game.

During its winning streak, South Brunswick pitchers have combined to allow just one run over 21 innings.
