Jonah Tullman’s walk-off RBI double gave fifth-seeded Randolph a 5-4 victory over 12th-seeded South Plainfield in Randolph.
Tullman, a senior, went 2-for-4 with two RBI, a run and a stolen base for Randolph (13-11), which took a 4-2 lead with three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. Matia Clement went 3-for-3 with a run and a stolen base, Mitch McKechnie was 1-for-2 with a walk, two runs and a RBI, and Jason Roskam went 1-for-4 with a run and two stolen bases.
Randolph plays fourth-seeded West Morris in the quarterfinals on Saturday.
South Plainfield, which scored two runs in the top of the seventh inning to tie the game at 4-4, falls to 13-14.
