Senior Matt Cesare cracked two of South Plainfield's five home runs.
Cesare ripped a two-run homer in the first and a solo shot in the third. Stephen Petriello, Daniel Hansen and Carlos Ruiz each homered as the Tigers improved to 15-1.

Matt Cesare homered twice while Dan Hansen, Stephen Petriello and Carlos Ruiz each slugged one home run in the five-inning contest for No. 13 South Plainfield (15-1) in New Brunswick. Victor Romero and Jose Torres belted a home run apiece for New Brunswick (2-12).
Brandon Downes hit his 9th home run of the season while hitting for the cycle against New Brunswick on April 30, 2010.
