Brandon Downes went 2-for-5 with a home run and three RBI while Mark Benak delivered three hits as South Plainfield (12-1) extended its winning streak to 10 games at the Greater Middlesex Conference Autism Awareness Day in North Brunswick. Winner Matt Cesare hurled a complete game and struck out five without issuing a walk. Matt Monte and Jake Werb had three hits apiece for Sayreville (5-5).
