Senior Vincent Esposito went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a triple to lead South Plainfield to a 3-1 win over Iselin Kennedy in Iselin.
Luke Bickunas had a hit and an RBI for South Plainfield (1-0) while sophomore Francis Flannery had an RBI.
Senior Mitch Dudak of South Plainfield and freshman RJ Coleman of Iselin Kennedy each had seven strikeouts.

Senior right-hander Mitch Dudak threw a gem allowing two hits and run with seven strikeouts and two walks in the Tigers' White Division win.

Second baseman Vincent Esposito went 3-for-3 with a double, triple, RBI and run scored.

Luke Bickunas added a hit and RBI and Francis Flannery drove in a run. Additionally, Nick Loniewski and Ty Dukoff scored runs for South Plainfield.

Josh O. Torres (run scored) and Isaiah Cherry each had a hit for J.F. Kennedy.
