T.J. Massaro went 2-for-3 with two RBI to lead South Plainfield to a 5-0 win over Bernards in South Plainfield.

Dave Tavarez singled and drove in two runs for South Plainfield. Chris Shine, Billy Keane, and Dylan O'Connor each combined for six shutout innings in the win.

 A day after defeating Hillsborough 6-5, the Tigers (15-7), who have won four of their last five, blanked the Mountaineers.

Winning pitcher Chris Shine (3-1) allowed no runs on two hits and two walks through four innings. Billy Keane (two innings) and Dylan O'Connor (one inning) relieved.

Connor Adams, TJ Massaro and O'Connor had two hits apiece. Massaro and Dave Tavarez each had two RBI.
