Peter Yarem had two hits and knocked in one to lead Scotch Plains-Fanwood to a 4-1 victory over South Plainfield in South Plainfield.

Colin McAlindin had a hit, scored a run and knocked in one and Spencer Vaughn chipped in a hit and an RBI for Scotch Plains-Fanwood. Danny Wilkinson pitched 4 1/3 innings and allowed one run and four hits while striking out seven and walking two.

Connor Adams had two hits and added a run for South Plainfield.

Scotch Plains-Fanwood 4, South Plainfield 1

Danny Wilkinson earned the win for Scotch Plains-Fanwood (16-9) after he allowed one run on four hits and struck out seven in 4 1/3 innings. Matt Kipp allowed two hits and struck out one in 2 1/3 innings of relief. Peter Yarem doubled and had one RBI. Colin McAlindin finished with one RBI and one run scored. Spencer Vaughn had one RBI. Jake Canavan and Matt Fox each scored a run. For South Plainfield (16-9), Connor Adams scored a run.
