South Plainfield scored five runs in the sixth to erase a two-run deficit and defeat Iselin Kennedy, 6-3, in Iselin. Quinn Cochrane was 2-for-3 with two runs and an RBI for South Plainfield. Mike Muglia was 2-for-4 with a run. Pat Boyle pitched a complete game with six strikeouts to earn the victory.
Zach Buchholz was 4-for-4 with a double and a run for Iselin Kennedy. Chad Barrall, Eric Giordano and Joseph Stone had an RBI each.
