Sam Nieves recorded three hits, including a double and a home run, while Rob Gonzales hit a two-out two-RBI double. TJ Massaro finished with a single, a double and two runs.
Chris Biolsi recorded an RBI single for Edison while Ervin Virola recorded a double.

Senior righthander Chris Shine, a Seton Hall University signee, allowed one earned run on five hits and two walks over six innings as the Tigers avenged Saturday’s loss to the Eagles.
Shine, who threw more than 100 pitches for the second straight outing, struck out seven, raising his conference-leading total in that department to 19 on the year.
TJ Massaro singled, doubled and scored twice for South Plainfield (4-1). Rob Gonzalez gave the Tigers a 2-0 lead in the first with a two-run double.
Sammy Nieves went 3-for-4 and finished a triple shy of hitting for the cycle.
Christian Biolsi delivered an RBI single and Evrin Viola doubled for Edison (3-1), which scored single runs in the sixth and seventh innings to avert a shutout.
Edison was outhit 11-6.
