Freshman Brandon Downes ('11) is currently hitting .455 with 4 extra-base hits (2 triples), 9 RBI's and 3 multi-hit games. Brandon recently returned to action following a hand injury that sidelined him for a few weeks. The 23rd ranked Virginia baseball team is 22-10-1 (9-6 Conf) as they have hit the mid-point of their season in the ACC.
