SOUTH PLAINFIELD 12, J.F. KENNEDY (6 inn.): Junior shortstop Sal Esposito went 2-for-3 with an RBI single in the bottom of the sixth to give South Plainfield (8-5) its second straight mercy-rule win over the Mustangs (7-6). Junior righty Pat Boyle (1-1) pitched complete game to earn his first varsity win. He struck out two and allowed six hits and a walk.
