Joey Tuttoilmondo threw another gem with a complete game shutout allowing just one hit and walk in the six innings with 11 strikeouts for the key Red Division win.
The visiting Vikings (3-2, 2-1) scored in the first and fifth innings. Slugger Ethan Fantel singled and drove in a run and Aaron Perna scored twice and went 1-for-3 and walked. Teddy Garcia also went 2-for-3 and Daniel Kirk singled and walked.
Aldo Pigna gave the Tigers (2-3, 2-3) a great start by allowing two runs (1 ER) in six innings off of five hits and two walks with seven strikeouts. Chase Donovan threw a scoreless inning. Dan Kapsch had the lone hit for South Plainfield and Brandon Bickunas drew a walk.
