Kyle Anderson went 1-1 with an RBI and two walks for North Brunswick while Josh Rodriguez finished 1-2 with a run.
Ashton Donovan threw 6 1/3 innings for South Plainfield and allowed four hits and four walks. Joseph Maroney, Dom Massaro, and Zack Robinson each accounted for a hit.

Zachary Konstantinovsky pitched like an ace as North Brunswick took the opener over South Plainfield. The senior threw 6 1/3 shutout innings and allowed three hits and a walk with four strikeouts. Kyle Anderson got the last two outs. He also singled, walked twice and drove in a run. Frankie Garbolino and Josh Rodriguez each added a hit in the opener.
South Plainfield got a well-pitched game by Ashton Donovan in the loss. He allowed two runs in 6 1/3 innings.
