Zack Wallace went the distance in the five-inning game by allowing an unearned run off of four hits and two walks as the Falcons’ bats erupted in the Red Division win.
Monroe (5-4 overall, 5-4 in the division won its fourth-straight game with 13 hits.
Lucas White went 3-for-3 with two RBI and Harrison Lollin (2-for-2, RBI, 4 runs) and Michael Ortiz (2-for-3, 3 RBI, run) also had multi-hit games.
Nick Sellari singled and walked and scored three times and Aidan Lane walked twice and scored two times. Also having a hit in the win were Trevor Wallace, Jake Lobue (run), Larry Casey (run) and Kyle McCauley (2 runs).
Having hits for South Plainfield (4-4, 3-4) were Nick Irizarry, Zack Robinson, Ashton Donovan and Joe Moroney (run).
