Frank Flannery had everyone’s full attention during the Monday afternoon status report meeting. Frankie’s presentation and overall performance was as tight (3-3, 3r, 4 rbi, bb, sb) as the suit he wore to the office.
Frankie Flannery drove in four runs as South Plainfield earned the impressive non-conference win over Somerville.
The visiting Tigers (4-3) led 5-4 and scored two runs apiece from the third through the sixth innings for the victory.
Sophomore Kevin Penny went six innings to earn the win with five strikeouts. Zack Robinson had three RBI in the win.
