 Woodbridge 4, South Plainfield 2: Woodbridge freshman Nick Bradshaw made his first varsity start a memorable one, throwing a complete-game four-hitter. He gave up two runs in the seventh inning. Juan Penas had a homer for Woodbridge, while teammates James Rueb, Kyle Savoia, and Phil Temple all had two hits. South Plainfield’s Patrick Boyle allowed two earned runs on seven hits and a walk. He struck out six. Taylor Born had an RBI double and scored in the seventh for South Plainfield (3-3).
