Stanczak hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning, and then a three-run homer in the sixth. Chris Shine also hit two homers for the Tigers, while driving in five runs.
Millburn trailed 19-11 heading into the bottom of the seventh, and Peter Serruto hit a two-run homer to cut into the lead.
Ben Pampush drove in five runs for Millburn, while Ben Sinins hit a homer and tallied two RBI.

Chris Shine and Mike Stanczak each
homered twice as the Tigers won a slugfest with the defending state Group IV
champions.
The contest featured 37 hits. South Plainfield took a 19-7 lead into the
sixth inning. Millburn rallied over the next two frames and had the tying run on
deck when the final out was recorded.
Stanczak (3-for-4) hit a three-run homer in the fifth and added a three-run
blast in the sixth. He finished with seven RBI. Shine went 3-for-4 with four
runs scored and five RBI. Both players doubled.
Mike Marrero went 2-for-4 with three runs scored and two RBI for South
Plainfield. Teammate Chris Born had two single.
The Tigers were outhit 21-16.
