As a key White Division game was going to the bottom of the seventh, Mother Nature had a say.
It started pouring and the game got stopped and it officially ends as a 2-2 tie.
South Plainfield is now 8-1-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the division. North Brunswick is 8-5-1, 5-3-1.
Visiting North Brunswick scored in the second and third innings. South Plainfield pushed two runs across in the fifth.
Mitch Dudak allowed one earned run in six innings for South Plainfield, allowing four hits and two walks with four strikeouts.
Nick Loniewski went 3-for-3 and drove in both of the TIgers runs. Nick DellaSala and Francis Flannery each scored a run.
Additionally, Brandon Shine had two hits and Troy O'Connor, Dan McLeod and Kennedy Ferguson each had a hit.
For North Brunswick, David Nazario allowed two runs in six innings and allowed eight hits with four strikeouts.
Kyle Tarabokia had two hits and Patrick McCann and Yomar Carreras (run) each had a hit. Tyler Sommer also scored.
