Sophomore righthander Ashton Donovan allowed two earned runs in 6 2/3 innings with seven strikeouts and gave up six hits and two walks in the White Division win.
The visiting Tigers (11-2-1 overall, 9-1-1 in division) led 5-1 over two innings. The Barrons (9-5, 6-5) rallied with three runs in the third, but South Plainfield scored in the fifth and twice in the sixth inning to seal the win.
Brandon Shine homered and doubled with with three RBI and Austin Scott went 3-for-4 with an RBI. Nick Loniewski had two hits and scored twice.
For the Barrons, Tom O'Halloran (three runs) and Brandon Schmitt (RBI) each had two hits.

Brandon Shine doubled, homered and drove in three runs to lead South Plainfield to an 8-5 victory over Woodbridge.
Austin Scott went 3-for-4 with a double and an RBI, and Nick Loniewski had two hits and scored two runs for South Plainfield (11-2-1).
Tom O’Halloran went 2-for-3 with a triple and three runs scored for Woodbridge (9-5).
