Dan McLeod allowed five hits over six innings of scoreless ball, striking out eight to lead South Plainfield to a win at home over Sayreville, 3-1.
Mitch Dudak singled and drove in a run while Austin Scott singled once and scored once for South Plainfield (9-2-1), which has suffered one loss in its last nine games.
Nick Loniewski went 1-for-3 with a run scored while Luke Bickunas walked and scored a run for South Plainfield, which allowed more than two runs in a game on just one occasion this season.
Matt Abreu went 2-for-4 with a double while Tim Mayer singled and scored a run for Sayreville, which falls to 3-4 with the loss.

Dan McLeod threw six shutout innings with eight strikeouts and scattered five hits and four walks in the White Division win.
The Tigers (9-2-1 overall, 7-1-1 in division) scored in the bottom of the first and pushed across two more runs in the sixth.
Mitch Dudak had an RBI, while Nick Loniewski (run), Austin Scott (run), Kennedy Ferguson and Francis Flannery each had a hit in the win. Luke Bickunas scored a run.
For the Bombers (3-4, 3-4), Matt Abreu had two hits and Evan Drepaul, Anthony Donofrio, Tim Mayer (run) and Diego Rodriguez each had a hit.
