Game 21: South Plainfield 10, Carteret 0


SOUTH PLAINFIELD 10, CARTERET 0:

Sophomore A.J. Celentano threw a three-hitter, striking out four for the Tigers.
The game was tight most of the way, with South Plainfield (14-7) scoring seven runs in the seventh inning to put it away. Designated hitter Quinn Cochrane hit a two-run home run during the uprising.
Senior first baseman Dan Hansen doubled, tripled and drove in three runs for the Tigers. For Carteret (2-17), Paul Silva allowed three runs over six innings and doubled for one of the Ramblers' three hits.
