Monroe 3, South Plainfield 2: The Falcons rallied for three runs in the home seventh to erase a 2-0 deficit.
Monroe loaded the bases on two singles and a walk before Chris Hernandez laced a two-run single with two away. Pinch runner Eric Heatter scored the winning run on a wild pitch.
The Tigers took a 2-0 lead in the top of the sixth. With the bases loaded, Chris Graves squeezed. The third baseman overthrew the catcher on an attempted force at home, allowing the lead runner to score and Kyle Dickerson to cross all the way from second base.
Dickerson, who had missed South Plainfield's previous games, made his season debut.
He is one of the best all-around athletes in the conference.
