Andrew Meiners hit a home run to go 2-for-3 with two runs and three RBI, helping North Hunterdon earn an 11-0 victory over South Plainfield in South Plainfield.
North Hunterdon, which had 10 total hits, scored three runs in the fourth inning to take a 7-0 lead. Randy Grzankowski pitched a six-inning five-hitter with three walks and six strikeouts, while Jeff Guile went 1-for-2 with two RBI. Shayne Fontana went 3-for-3 with three runs and an RBI, while Thomas Schumacher went 1-for-2 with an RBI for North Hunterdon.
