Old Bridge 14, South Plainfield 7: In a slugfest that saw the teams combine for 35 hits, both stranded a total of 21 runnners, or the damage could have been worse.
Brian Hulaysia went 3-for-6 with three RBI for the Knights (11-8), who tallied 20 hits. Jordan Fetterman contributed four hits and an RBI to the win.
Old Bridge scored 11 runs over the final two innings to erase a 6-3 deficit. James Gabriel (3-for-5 with two runs), Vin Donofrio (2-for-4 with two runs), Zach Attianese (3-for-4 with three runs) and Billy Layne (2-for-4 with a run) had multiple hit games for the Knights.
Kyle Dickerson went 3-for-5 with a triple and a run scored for the Tigers (10-7), while LJ Scarpitto, Bryan Gillen, Sean Earhardt and Xavier Wilson had two hits apiece.
South Plainfield's Jack Gillis went 3-for-3.
